Location: Central NJ | I have an older model Balladeer. 1111-4 C 709 that I got new. I was looking to get some new tuning machines for it. Anyone have any suggestions of what would be good? The originals still work well and hold tune. Would I hurt the guitar value by altering it? Thanks in advance. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Kluson SD9005MN are the originals. They are great tuners. I would not change it. If you're hellbent on spending money I'd put on a new set of the same tuners.

Location: Central NJ | I just was curious. Frankly I just wanted to make string changing easier and thought maybe some of the newer tuners would help. Just getting old and lazy. Thanks for the info. I think I will just leave it alone. Here is a picture of the old girl. After almost 40 years love her more than when she was new.

DON'T CHANGE THEM ... |
