Time to let this one go. Great guitar, low action, 1 3/4" neck, wonderful tone. One small ding on soundboard and another on the back of the neck. You have to be looking for them to notice. They were there when I got it along with an older brown OHSC in good working and cosmetic condition.

I'm looking for $1000.00 or interesting trades. Maybe exchange at the Jam in a couple of weeks.

I sound like a broken record ...

The best sounding wood topped ovation ever.
Understated elegance (cedar, ebony, tortie, gold).
Extremely rare (only 52 exist).
Significantly underpriced.

For additional pics of this guitar see my .ning page at:

FD-14 at BluesSailors Ning page

These are Hi-res shots and should show all the detail needed to satisfy your curiosity. The scratch on the neck looks worse than it actually is. You don't notice it when you play and I had to look closely to find it for the pics.

Price quoted does NOT include shipping.

A great guitar. I don't think anyone would be unhappy with one of these.

Looks like she's sold and staying in the family. I'm giving the buyer through the end of next week to see if he or any of us really has any money left to finalize the deal.

I had a couple of real interesting offers for trade, but cash is king right now.

Thankfully it's staying in the family too. Hate to be selfish but if they leave the family I might NEVER get a chance to grab one. Congrats to the buyer - GREAT guitar.

Yes, I'll be bringing a FUD to the party, assuming I'll be there. The future is starting to look cloudy due to unforeseen circumstances.

Marissa couldn't make it. She wouldn't have gotten along very well with my wife anyway.

I'm bringing a UTE, Blues.

You can never have too many UTEs.
