Finally got around to posting pics of these guys.

1987 Adamas II 1581, black with gold flake, absolute dead mint...seriously looks like it was never played. Single epi, OP24 electronics, absolute tone monster. Asking $1300 shipped & Paypal'ed.

Custom-ordered 2006 C759LX-FKOA Custom Legend 12-string. This is a killer 12-string, with master-grade figured Koa top, carved bridge, abalone inlays, contour bowl, ProStudio electronics w/XLR, gold hardware...the works! Asking $2250 shipped & Paypal'ed. International shipping available.

Ask Woody if you need a review on this one - it is an incredible sounding and looking 12-string.

I'll back him up on the 12 string! It is a gorgeous cobination of select wood tones and technology.

If you prefer the center holes this is the one you must have.

Both are beautiful guitars... But that Koa is definitely Purdy.

The Adamas is spoken for, and staying here in the NW.

The gorgeous piece of Koa acoustics is still up for grabs... ;)

Congrats Woody, I love my 1581 and haven't found another guitar with that deep tone. When playing with other guitars it really fills up the bottom end.

Total agreement here!

Someone needs to step up and haggle with Andrew on the Koa 12.

I like both but the 12 string is pretty. A matching 6 string would be nice.

I've thought about it. Personally, an awesome Christmas self-present to me would be this Koa 12'er and one of the Koalas that Al had done...which I think he still has a couple of by the way... ;)

Someone should keep this beauty in the family. I'd rather not go into hock to pay off my custom in January, even though I hate to give up my baby here.

I'd do it in a heartbeat Andrew if I had the money. I'm also cutting it fine with SWMBO, who's showing the initial stages of "enough is enough." It'd be a shame to have such a beautiful instrument smashed over my head. (I'll let you all decide which is the most shameful part, smashing my head or smashing the guitar.)

Patch, if she's only in the initial stages, you're safe for awhile. Its a long term, chronic illness, but you better be quiet to avoid the occasional acute attacks.

I believe the term is "GAS-Toast Intolerance".

I triple dog dare someone to buy the Koa 12 and a set of tickets to Hawaii to tie it all in!!

Price drop for the unfortunate GAS-inflicted...$2075 shipped for the Koa12, and I'll throw in a black 2.5" OFC leather strap with it...just the perfect package! ;)
