The 82C beater I got through standingovation is going to go live in Canandigua NY this school year. It was the acoustic guitar used on Dane's recording on the OFC3 disc. This is a great get for whoever winds up with it.

I still have the one that came with my 1651 in 1981. The left and right splits are really thin, but mine has held up well. I used it repeatly for 20 years with a stereo PA set up and it still works just fine, although nowadays I prefer the bigger monster cables just because the cables are more sturdy.

Generally used to insert FX processors directly into a mixers channel strip at the TRS insert point. Hosa make a reasonanbly sturdy insert cable, but they have molded plugs, so for road use I just cut them off and solder on some Neutriks.
