I just restrung mine with mediums and put it in D tuning. It sounds fabulous.

LOL... Yeah I think those phone cards expired about 30 days after issue. It was never used. Is MCI even still in existance? Lots of History there.

But, for any Ovation Fanclub(tm) member, if you want the package, I'll throw in a $20.00 phone card :)

Ok. Time to be serious. These are one of the best wood top Ovations ever built. Different appointments, but the same basic guitar as the 87C. Toby had both and couldn't tell them apart, sound-wise.

Somebody needs to buy this instrument.....

If I didn't already have the 87C this would be on its way across the country right now.

I have an 87C, too. It's going to my daughter when she turns 25, so I won't be in the market till then. Can you wait 4 years, Miles?

OK, my birthday is coming (eventually) and I think each member of the OFC can afford a quarter, even in this economy.

If everyone donates, just 25 cents, I can have a wonderful Book Elite!

That IS a beautiful guitar. I wish I could afford that AND Stellar Jims' 1537, AND one of those KOA topped collector's, AND a custom made cedar-topped cutaway Adamas I with contour bowl and VIP electronics (: (: (: ...

Somewhere, over the rainbow ...

I figured I should give it away.. not worth much without a truss rod cover and the neck not finished.
