I'm still trying to figure out if the 1681 had gold or ebony buttons originally - anyone?

Location: Portland, OR		I know this is an old thread, but I just today got a set of Paul's walnut buttons. If you haven't seen them before, they are even prettier than the photos. Very well made, matched and finished.
