The Sweetwater T is the same as any 2078T with a pretty epaulet (or ugly epaulet, depending).

If by "Regular Elite T" you mean the great old 1778T, the 2078T has a contour bowl and OP-Pro.

How does the inlaid epaulet work with the texture paint?

Hey Bobbo... Until Brad gets better photos (which shouldn't be hard) I got these in the Gallery. The one with the shims shows how the texture meets the epi. And another, and a crappy side-view for elevation...

[Didn't mean to cut ya' off Brad, the photos were just handy.]

Ahh.my Sweetwater T. I had it on the platform yesterday as an xtra guitar. The worship leader...my friend and senior pastor and Taylor snob broke his G sring for the millionth time. someone took it away to change the string and Dale was forced to use my Sweetwater T.
It took them 4 songs to look through a dozen sets of strings in his office till they found one that wasn't missing the G string. "Humiliations Galore"...it was a great time.

Tell him to try a coupla more wraps around the tuning peg, and maybe they won't break so often.

So what did he think of the T?

He likes to think he knows a lot about guitars, but he likes his 814 because people who he's impressed with play Taylors. Unfortunately, he was in the Phillipines a few months back leading worship for several days without his guitar. They gave him a POS Celebrity to use for all that time. I don't know the model...it's got the lopsided headstock with the 4/2 tuner configuration. All black like my T. Anyway, he hated that guitar (naturally) and when he came back he saw my new Sweetwater T. He just can't get it in his head that the 2 guitars are worlds apart. All he sees in his mind are 2 black Ovations.

Oh well...
