This is from a collection this fellow, Woody is his name, inherited from his Dad who was a great guitar lover.

I don't usually post this stuff because I know that most of you are way ahead of me in finding it.

I bought an N768 Nakao from him earlier this year that his Dad had in his collection. Very reasonable and in essentially unused condition. I would be very much surprised if this Adamas looks any different than the day it was made.

If I didn't have one on the way, I'd jump on it.

Thought someone might be interested.

Great guitar. These sound surprisingly good unplugged too. I bought one last summer. I had it for a week then let a co-worker borrow it. That was the last time I saw it. At least she paid me for it.

Disagree.....I think they sound tinny and thin unplugged.

But plugged in WHAT A MONSTER and very very comfortable.

Anyone who plays live should jump on this!

I was watching that one. Glad to see an OFC connection somehow.

You're right, if you're using the wrong strings. My 1587 and 1581 sound huge and fat, but with Elixir Phosphor Bronze Light-Medium .012-.056, my 1881 has a very nice punch to it that it didn't have when I first got it.

Some folks prefer the sound and comfort of a shallow bowl. All depends what you are comparing it to. I do 98% of my playing seated and I could never keep the shallow bowl from slipping off my knee. The deep bowl has more of flat bottom and sits nicely in position. Acoustic sound is a matter of personal opinion.

Super shallow bowls and thin hybrids are pretty much all I use in the band these days, with an occasional go with one of the Taks. For standing up live plugged in, the SSBs just can't be beat IMHO, and the 1881 is just about at the top.

One negative out of the last 80 sales/12 months is no big deal. It's 98.7 because he doesn't have a lot of sales.
His DSR's are certainly good.

Hey, If I had a 98.7% chance of getting laid tonight I'd be feeling pretty good about it ...

Now I really wanted to finish my O fix (just 87C required now) b4 looking at the As, but I certainly have a SSB A very near the top of my list, :)

Looks like his negative FB was a shipping beef. Shipping on this is pretty straight up. I found him to be very honest, personable and informative. For a 16yr old guitar, my N768 was like brand new except for an applied pickguard. Pics of it are on Jerome's site. I wouldn't worry about the FB rating.

I'm glad someone here got it. I was sorely tempted. I'm sure you will be happy with the deal.

Nice grab. The price is very good for what could be relatively rare model in near mint condition.

Thanks. I'm thinkin' the 1581 may have to go to make room for this one.

When the 1881 arrived, I kept the 1581. I appreciate their differences as well as their similarities.
