Oh my GAWD! This puppy booms on the lows, sweet talks in the mids and chimes in on the highs. I love the feel of the low freqs through the bottom/back into my leg/belly...

Thanx to bowl playin boy for finding, sharing and the safe shipping of this 'find'. And thanx to TupSki for his subtle insistence that these are fine and fun guitars.

This puppy is accompanying me down to the Keys for a week for a suntan and some lobstering/fishing. The color is twix robin egg blue (don't ask how I know that shade) and a VERY light bluish white. Forget any pics tonight, I'm not finished packing...

I'm in dire need to find a deep bowl case for its next sojourn to a sweet patriotic young lady in a hotter and drier climate. So any leads would be deeply appreciated!

James, thanx again for your sharing!

Sounds like a great guitar for those trips like you are taking. Maybe one day I will get the opportunity to play one and get hooked also!

The freeking things sold for under $200 !!!!!

Cliff, my bladder control is not such that pissing up a rope is even possible anymore. Personally I'm GLAD that almost nobody knows about the Academy, very few people own them, and nobody really knows it's virtues. It makes it all the more special in my little corner of cool guitars. Check the "house burning down" thread, I do believe I stated that the Academy would be the one that got saved.

Well, we're kinda shooting ourselves in the foot, aren't we!
