Joined: February 2007 Posts: 57 Location: North Oregon Coast | I have an Epiphone Masterbilt EN546CE nylon string that is in mint condition, like new, and played very little, that I would like to trade for an Ovation nylon string. This Epi is a very highly rated instrument, but I prefer Ovations. I don't have any cash, so if anyone is interested, it will have to be a straight across trade. Thanks! Ray

Besides the Epiphone EN-546CE (pardon the stock picture): ![]() I also have a Hagstrom Viking II semi-hollow body electric: ![]() Both guitars are like new and have been played very little, and they come with their original factory cases.

But I can arrange a very generous (I couldn't type 'liberal' :p !) time payment plan on a 1624-4 with immediate shipment. I have two and need to thin the herd. LMK if you're interested... Edited to add: Whoa, just saw your Hagstrom pic... I think we can work sumpin' out here if you're interested.

I believe the nut width on yours is 1 7/8" am I correct? I know, this seems like a small difference but I have short fingers and the difference is real! I wish I could find a nylon string with a 1 11/16" nut to match my 1983 collector's edition (they don't exist, I've looked everywhere) Ray, I have no interest in the Epi. So take your time and hopefully you'll find what you're seeking. BTW, I probably have the smallest hands at the several 'gatherings' I've attended. In fact, Karen's (Jewel's Mom) hands are the same size as mine. But I find the neck profile on the 1624 plays more like a 1 3/4". I sure sure others will chime in to correct me if I'm off base. Again, hope ya find what you're lookin' fer! ![]()

Let's see what kind of plot unfolds as the rest of the OFC finishes their Mother's Day dishes and checks the airwaves.
