The original owner dropped it while putting it on a wall hanger. The top and body were replaced, and the frets were leveled. All work done at the Mothership. The neck and back of the headstock have some dings in them, but nothing major. OHSC is in good condition. This was #18, but the sticker was not transferred to the new body. Email me if you need more photos or details. I also will include a 72 hour inspection period. If you decide within that period that you don't like it, just let me know and I'll return the purchase price when the guitar is returned in the same condition as shipped. You will pay the freight. Thanks.

Moody and I were talking about the FD14 this weekend and feel that they have pretty much settled into permanent homes, so the chance to buy one will nto come often. Good luck with the sale. Dave

But someone pointed out that #18/50 is not engraved on the back of the headstock. I incorrectly thought that there was originally a sticker that indicated the production number and that the sticker was destroyed when the body was damaged. This one was made after the original 50.

It has all the right goodies to make it the fantastic fingerpicker that it is, 12 frets to the body, slothead, 1 3/4" neck, and the mellow cedar soundboard for great tone. Someone needs to step up and take this one home. Blues

I really meant when I said I was getting out of the roundback business. But I wanted to keep one roundback for the memory's sake and Jack's FD-14 became available. How can anyone resist? Besides the future FD-14, I only have one Ovation (Patriot) left, because my so-called friend ripped the guitars off my hand in the name of old friendship, something about sharing each other's possessions. Why do I feel being stuck with the short end of the stick in these so-called friendship deals? There is a small colony of O lovers sprouting here in Seoul, Korea. Looking forward to buying you guys BBQ beef in 2009. Happy Holidays, Gentlemen!
