Location: Texas | Well, a big thanks to Pez for finding it and not buying it on the spot ;-) It sounds like it was played a lot, and shows it, but it is supposed to be structurally sound. Among other things, the bowl has a lot of "belt buckle wear," but not worn through the underlying fibers, I should be able to fix 'er up. In my case the only way I could afford (my first!) Adamas right now is if it was distressed enough to go well under the price for a mint one. As I said a while back, I'm looking to play it, not display it…
I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one arriving in the condition I'm expecting it to be. It's somewhat of a leap of faith…
Once I have it (and can put it down long enough,) I'll post info and pictures. (Darn, now I gotta figure out how to post pictures ;-)
Al was keeping an eye out for the right used 12 for me, but hadn't gotten back to me with anything yet. I feel bad that this one wasn't from him, but the next one probably will be… I hope that I haven't offended him or broken some unspoken OFC protocol, this was just too perfect a fit for me to pass up…
more later… |

Al will be fine with it.
Don't worry.
Beside after playing this you'll want a 6 string
and Al has quite a few of those.
Music go Round pretty good to deal with.
I got my Pacemaker from them |
