I showed this to Dweezil first, but he can't go after it. I've got mine, but I hope someone here can keep it in the family. Hopefully it's in good condition. Guitars don't come any better than these.

Did you ever find the one you were missing?

Then the correct comment should be:

". . . It might've BEEN mine, . . I forgot who I sold it to . ."

Nope. It was a 1968 Glen Campbell Autograph 12-String. Very rare.

It was the house painters, no question about it. They probably stashed it in their truck when I went to buy the bastards lunch at subway. I filed a police report and the cops questioned the owner of the painting company but of course he defends his employees who all of a sudden pull a sosa and no hable englese.

The thing that pisses me off is that these guys didn't know crap about ovation guitars, yet just by coincidence nick one of the 2-3 that will never be replaceable. Oh well, it's my own fault.

Interesting that it's in a tan case. Never have figured that out. Doesn't matter but would be nice to know what they were sold in. I know this has been hashed over a bunch. Some were some weren't is the answer I suppose.

Mine's in the original case and it's black. I think the tan ones were phasing out by the mid 80s.
