Dale,
Looking good! My recommendation- get a stand from which the guitar hangs- I like the Ultimate GS 100
Best regards,

Dave

Hi, Dave.

Thanx for the stand recommendation. I usually keep her in my music room on an "Off the Wall" brand hanger. I see you've sold a couple more since I took this Deacon off your hands.

IIRC, you were working on a Breadwinner with a custom paint scheme back then. Did you finish that up? How about some photos?

Stay cool.

Oooh look ! It's one of those guitars that some OFC members can't play properly. (Something about intonation!?)
Seriously though - beautiful instruments!
Anyone seen the Blue Breadwinner on eBay??

Slight differences in the intonation of the additional strings is part of the charm of 12-strings in general. Just get the main strings dead on and you're good to go!

Hey! I resemble that remark! :D

Yeah, I noticed the blue BW. Seemed a little overpriced to me. Now, if it were mint...

Didn't mean you Dale !(of course not)- just being a little naughty - I think the slur will eventually hit it's target though - stay tuned!
It'll be interesting to see how the blue BW goes - I think it's a bit over-priced too.

I was just reading the description on the EBay auction. He states that this bridge type is non-intonatable...is that correct? The 6-string version from this period is.

It's correct. That's why eventually, Ovation went to the Schaller bridge that was adjustable....

Wow...so that's why people rag on the old 12-string bridges because they sure look cooler than the Schaller bridges.

Trying to intonate via swapping out string gauges would be a total PITA.
