Here's a 1627 Glen Campbell Reissue on the 'bay with a starting bid of $999, a BIN of $1099, or make an offer. These are really wonderful guitars. Mine gets played every day (it's sitting here in my office). Sometimes I wonder why do I bother having other guitars.

Somebody needs to buy this!

Nice guitar for sure and a great price, but let me just say that I hate the way Ovation have changed the necks. They just don't look right to me without the dark mahogany stripe down the middle (and don't get me started on the new "thin stripes"). It's sorta like Fender putting a maple skunk stripe down the back of a maple strat neck. Some things shouldn't change, even if they can prove it doesn't make a damn bit of difference in the guitar. I always thought the stripe was kind of iconic ...

Uh, Guys... Even if it is the same wood, a little bit of stain woulda made it LOOK like it used to...

[Now I'm just gonna take a Magic Marker to my K-1111... NOT!]

Shame...

Is this a real foil label or just shiny paper??? Wouldn't it be great if they brought the foil label back!

Gee Muzza, I just had my hand inside my K1111 and I didn't check to see if it was foil or paper.

I might add, it has X bracing, but not exactly like the old style...

(old style)>

Mine does not have the three braces going down at an angle on the lower end...
There is just the big X, with a horizontal wide brace going underneath the bridge...
I just thought that I would share that...

Labels on the RIs are paper.

At first appearance they look like foil labels. I was disappointed when I realized it's paper. The RI would have deserved a real foil label. They are great guitars, especially the GC.
