Question: Wouldn't the polished Schaller's have the same hole spacing issues as the ones's Dave sold? Also, most of the attraction of the 3-on-a plate styling is the open tuners and the etching on the plate itself. Blues | ||

Joined: April 2006 Posts: 848 Location: Munich, Germany | Blues funny, I made a switch from the ones Dave sold to the M-style ones, because I didn't like the looks of those classical ones on my Josh White Reissue. And, besides, I had them on two of my guitars and don't think they are too precise. As far as I remember the plates should cover all the holes - but for sure, you'd have to drill new screw holes. If interested, I will take a picture tomorrow to be sure if all the holes will be covered after a switch. Best regards, Kurt | ||
