Just trying to get a feel for how much these will go for right now. I will most likely sell one of these within the next week or so, maybe both if I get good offers.

I don't know much about these guitars. I'm actually selling them for my mom. As far as I know, she bought the Balladeer new and is the second owner of the Glenn Campbell since the early 80s. Both guitars are in very good condition for their age. They have their original hardshell cases. The handle on the case for the Balladeer is broken on one side. The Glenn Campbell has a spot on the headstock that looks like it took a bump, but it's nothing serious. Overall 8.5-9/10 condition on both of them. I can provide better pictures upon request.

Serial #057270

Serial #229660

I'm taking offers on these. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the PM iffy!

I don't have a price for these guitars. I honestly have no idea how much to ask for these guitars. I'm not a big acoustic player, and I haven't been able to find any solid pricing information on the internet. If anybody has any information that could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm sure there is more knowledge on this board about these guitars than anywhere else.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome,...

Those are nice guitars. Now is not the time to try to sell unless you don't care how much you'll get.

ouano,

My PM was just to keep you outta 'hot water'. ;)

OMA's right. The only way to find and KNOW a selling price is on eBay. Keep in mind that here and on craigslist, you're only seeing the asking price, not final selling price.

TJ is dead on as to selling in the present market. It's a buyers market. If possible, have your Mom hold on for at least a few months and test the waters then.

Or better yet, grab 'em and wear 'em out yourself.

Also, you mentioned a head issue on the GC. 'Round here a good pic would be appreciated, especially by me.

Thanks for the tips guys. It helps a lot. I will probably end up waiting the economy out as you suggested. I have been trying to get my camera to connect to my computer to get some better pictures on here, but it keeps freezing. If I figure it out, I'll post up.

Thanks again!
