Even if I were filthy rich, I couldn't see myself paying that much for that guitar. Perhaps if it had been John Lennon's or Croce's, but even then I'd have to be quite nostalgic.(or neurotic) Hmmmm ... I wonder how many guitars I could buy for $30,000?

I watched bits and pieces of Def Leppard's "In The Round, In Your Face" (Hysteria tour) concert a couple of nights ago (filmed in Denver, I was there). Phil Collen plays a guitar that looks an awful lot like this during an acoustic version of "Bringin' On The Heartbreak", Rick Savage (bass player) uses it at the end of "Gods of War", too. Could this be the same guitar? Even if it were the same guitar it wouldn't be worth, say, $5000--no autographs, no pics with it, etc. Item is in San Diego, but $200 to ship within the U.S. seems high as well. We are all allowed our fantasies though. Mmmm, Shania Twain...

And while it's out of my price range, I'm guessing some fan of 80-90's rock may want this momento and be willing to pay for it. Hard Rock Cafe might even jump on it at some point.
