Location: New York | Today Logan bought new strings. I took the opportunity to fix the battery clip. I stole a battery hook up pad from a smoke detector. (Hope the house doesn't burn. . . but we have to have priorities) I clipped the wires off of the old connector and spliced them together with the new one, using the old battery holder. It should work fine. I put some silicone under it when I re-attached it to the body. So after it sets up overnight, I will put the battery in and string her up with the new strings and see how she sounds plugged and unplugged. |
