| Just turning to the experts!
Excellent to mint 1982-8 Collectors with original case (also in excellent condition).
Any idea what a fair asking price might be?
No hurry to sell, but will consider reasonable offers. Thanks guys!

A quick search shows only two listed here within the past year, $650 to $750 asking price prior to the market decline. |

Relisted again and made about the same.

| These are very nice Legends... and the first of the collectors.. but they have some +'s and -'s
+ 1st collectors edition
+ Deep Bowl
+ AAA top
+ A braced
+ Stereo 2 knobber
+ (to some) BLUE
- they made a LOT of them...
- stereo pickups seem to have a higher failure rate
- (to some) BLUE
if you have the original COA, case candy and tags it will increase it's value to a collector.
I've owned two.... sold one for around 600, the other for under 500... both were in excellent condition and had all the goodies. these were sold after the market bottomed out tho.
Nice guitar. you should keep it, Deep Bowl Legends are some of the best sounding and playing that came out of CT.
or at least wait for the economy to flip.... by then it will be about another 10 years older.. :rolleyes: and worth hopefully even more....

| Thanks guys for all the info, insights and feedback. I have decided to continue to consider reasonable offers, however, any offer lower than $800.00 plus shipping and insurance probably won't work. To me, the quality and uniqueness of this instrument is far more important than the ups and downs of a current market! For the right collector, this guitar brings a sort of priceless and permanent value! Again, thanks guys, very much, for all the info and advice. It's greatly appreciated! |
