(Since I didn't say it the other day) I have never played an OP-24+C, but I have always liked the OP-24+ (no 'C')... So I would imagine that it would be a nice little preamp. But depending on how often you play plugged-in and where, the Optima has a Notch Filter. Plus it has a 4 Band EQ. So if cost and availability are equal, I would get the Optima. (But I still like the OP-24+) Optima -- OP-24+C --

The best part of the story is this, I will get marry on February and want to play my future wife a song I am writting for that day, and I hope to do that with my 1863 and no other, but I just cant find the preamp. I have also a classical Takamine Tc132sc and classical Viper EA63 but they are not the same. This is a great forum by the way, Tnks for the help n best regards!

(The little thingy with two guys shaking hands near an envelope) Or go to Lost Art Vintage website. You can contact Ovation through the Ovation website Contact Page... But someone here might have a more current email address. I am not sure this page still works now that Fender bought them. But it is worth a shot.

And I would dont like to cut the XLR hole by myself, jiji. Regards!
