Location: Phoenix AZ | Just my 2 cents advice, finding a lefty D1A is not the easiest task in the world, and finding someone willing to sell one is even harder. Might be easier for you to buy a righty and change out the bridge and nut. I think other than that and the strap button, structurally the righty and lefty are identical. |

Jerry\'s Lefty Guitar in Sarasota, FL has on hand a new lefty D2H
DHR Music Experience in Cincinnati, OH has a good selection of left Collings, but also new. Some of their lefty D1's are pretty reasonable. |

I've been in the hunt for Collings myself (different model) so I've been perusing all the dealer stocks pretty regularly.
OK, so this doesn't turn into a complete thread hijack, DHR has this lefty D1A . It's new, but still a good price for Adirondack top, plus it's upgraded to a manly neck (1-3/4 nut) and the tasty tortoise binding. |
