Don't know who the buyer is or if he will disclose the final price but it is always nice to see where the new benchmarks are for the creme de la creme.

Last 2 original slotheads went for 12,500 each.
Should be interesting where one of the best copies lands.

Old #9 has gone to live with its new owner in New Jersey :( but it's someone that will play her! I'll leave it up to our mystery OFC member to decide if they want to go public with the details...although I think I've converted another over to the Adamas side :D

Me too. It's where I store all my high notes when I'm not using them.

Well it's official, I've had this guitar for exactly one week and I'd like thank Tony Calman, alpep and especially Tim for helping me make an easy decision to acquire this guitar an even easier one. All I have to say is that I LOVE the guitar! It's unlike anything else I've owned and it has "that" sound! Talk about sonic boom! And I thought my 1719-30CM sounded amazing! I can't stop playing AND looking at this 1187-247! I'm very happy I was able to get this guitar from a class act such as Tim via the OFC! Tim definitely has converted another over to the Adamas side! Perhaps a 1687-8 Adamas I Reissue next? Adamas: Nothing else like them... On that note, let's go New York Yankees!!!

Best regards,

3894

Congrats!! Glad we could keep it in the "family". Maybe one day I'll be fortunate enough to just play one.

Enjoy it!

Todd there are several real close to you and also Mark has an original. You should try to get together with us at the next Colorado gathering.

Wanted to get with you guys Stephen, but I think my baseball coaching duties wouldn't allow it.

I thought Cali was the home of boobs and botox, not softball teams...

Glad you like the 47RI 3894. But sorry. Go Phillies.
