It pains me to part with my 1863, but, economic times being what they are, one must do what one must do.

I am the original owner. The guitar is in mint condition. Comes with original Ovation hardshell case. The 1863 is nylon string and has a Super Shallow body. For complete information, here's the link for the 1863 on Ovation's web site: http://www.ovationguitars.com/?fa=detail&mid=76

I am asking $900.00 plus shipping and insurance. USPS Money Order only. I will ship via UPS "Pack & Ship Promise". If interested, please PM me. Thank you.

22v410,

I'm not interested in that guitar, but I noticed that you've re-posted the same two guitars for sale here a couple of times over the last few months, with apparently very little response?

You don't need to reveal any specific personal information on the open forum, but maybe if you provided a general idea of where you are located in the world, some OFC member(s) in your vicinity might want to arrange a meeting to look at them… just a thought.

Also, you could try listing them on Craig's List or EBay…

22V410,
Both your guitars look stellar - I really like that 88C, but you hit the nail on the head regarding the ecomony - times being what they are, your pricing is a bit ambitious.

I'd suggest you research what similar items sold for on Fleabay and regroup.

standing & Mitzdawg,

Thank you for your knid and informative replies. IMHO, OFC is an oasis in the online guitar forum world. I wonder: Are Ovation owners/players genetically predisposed to being polite, intelligent, and helpful (PIH)? Are the PIH drawn to Ovation guitars? Or, do Ovation guitars foster PIH in people? (Chicken vs. Egg.) I'll leave the answers to some doctoral candidate. I would like to think that I am a PIH. I may have to rethink selling both of my Ovations, lest I become a jerk.

standing: Thanks for the insight. I will update my Profile to include "From: Southeastern PA".

Mitzdawg: I appreciate your tactful use of the word "ambitious" (and agree). I have tracked my guitars on eBay over a few months. I believe that my guitars are in superior condition.

Again, thank you.
