I have a Ovation balladeer Model 1012 serial # 266220 had this ovation for many years
Is it vintage ? collectable ? what is the value ? and where could I get a appraisal for insurace if it is priceless ?

I don't recognize model number 1012. Maybe it is 1112, or 1612?
The serial number places not really in the "vintage" category, but depending on the condition it could be worth close to it's original purchase value. Very difficult to say in todays market.
Can you link us to some photos? That would tell a lot. |

Location: SoCal | Custom Balladeer, early 80's. Kaman bar in the neck. Probably a stacked tone/volume control on the shoulder.
Vintage? Depends on your point of view. Collectable? No. Value? Watch ebay. It's a pretty good indicator of these guitars.
It is, definitely, a really good guitar. Very playable, good sound acoustically and plugged in. It's a workhorse guitar. We have a member in New Jersey who's used one of these to gig with for years. |

I have this ovation with the original case molded one like gold or light brown since 1982 bouth it from the original owner so she is in very good condition and the sound is great.
Thank's again from a old music player for 40 years.
