I would travel great distances to see the sublime Mr. Legg but Cleveland is a little too far. I did see him a few months ago in Brighton and he was as good as ever.

It's about 2 hours probably 2 1/2 hours from Columbus. The wife and I are just going to take that day and the next day off work kinda make it a little getaway.

hmmmm. . .

He's playing up at Bodle's in Chester, NY as well.

I might consider it, but it's a bit of "drive" just t'sit thru a night of instrumental guitar music.

Last time I tried it was Poughkeepsie t'see acoustic HotTuna . . .

. . was "gone" by Intermission.

I feel the same way.
Seems strange that as much as I love guitars, the "masters" of the instrument fail to hold my attention.
A local music store brings in Doyle Dykes as least once a year to play a small venue for $10 a head. I've never felt the desire to go.
Hell, I'd pay 10 bucks to hear a couple sets of the OFC band. Twelve bucks if Temp is sitting in. A buck-fifty if they're wearing grass skirts.
