I've been looking for one of these, and saw this, but it appears modified. Any ideas on what's going on here? Does this look like a good buy?

It's an 1127 neck but the body was either scrapped for a new one or modified with the binding, bridge and trc from a Custom Legend.

I don't know how serious the top separartion is from the body and if it was a whole new body, what bracing pattern was used.

Additionally...I think in 74, Ovation was still using the silver foil stickers....right?

So calling it an 1127 may be a stretch.

Shouldn't a 71 have a foil label? The blue labels came out in the second half of the 70's.....

I think they were still using some square labels in '71.

I emailed the seller and asked him to check the bracing but haven't heard anything back yet.
