Not mine, but here's a shiny bowl Deluxe Balladeer with inset rosette in case anyone is in the market.

Nice. What's the bet on the winning bid?

I'd be afraid the guess.  With some folks a crack in the top can be the kiss of death when it comes to value.  However, the case isn't included unless it hits $400.00 and some folks would want the original case.  It would be nice to see these bring what *WE* think they are worth.  Should be interesting.

Nick, read the listing again. The way I read it is that the GC strap will be included if it meets a $400 bid. Case come w/ the guitar to any winning bidder.

I dunno.  From the listing: "The guitar has a pristine original hard shell case with latch key and vintage Glenn Campbell gold and black strap which I will let go with the guitar if the price reaches $400.00. If this beautiful guitar sells for less I will not include the case."

LOL

Guess I need to clean my glasses and check out those reading comprehension courses at the local community college. Of coarse, slowing down and being thorough wouldn't hurt either.

PROVIDED that the guitar is in decent shape the winning bidder will be very pleased. DB#698 is my go to guitar, the rest don't see as much use. If anyone here doesn't have an old one it's worth the risk.

I bet you didn't think the seller would be the one with the tomahawk.

The seller ended the auction early and sold the guitar to me.

LOL, not really.

His son expressed interest in the guitar, because it was a guitar that he and the seller (his dad) had found and bought together. His dad had no idea it meant that much to him (dads can be clueless in the eyes of our boys), so when his son called him, he pulled it off the block.

Can't beat that.
