Joined: January 2005 Posts: 640 Location: boulder | I will try to answer, but well you know...the W587 is a deep bowl cutaway, semi textured top a/e. I say semi textured because I think it is between the original textured tops and the SMT smooth tops. The W681t-a that I bought on Ebay, has this type of top. The W681t-a is the best $400 bucks I spent for an Adamas. Of course it's acoustic only which might help. hope it helps, plus the w587 Al has, is in color #7, my favorite. hope it helps mike | ||

Joined: February 2006 Posts: 60 Location: Berkeley, CA | There're a few things about the OP50 that I really like; the preshape is great, but I really would like the 4-band EQ. I have one song in particular that needs a deep cut on the bass/lo-mids to sound right through a pickup. Also, I almost never play in standard tuning, so the onboard tuner is a must, too. Maybe I should be looking at the 2080... the VIP may get close enough to what I need. | ||
