I want to sell my 1995 Collector Edition Ovation but I don't know what to ask for it.

It is in near mint condition. Ive tried ebay but it didnt sell, so Im thinking about taking to a local shop, but I dont know what to accept for it.

Anyone got any advice?

As in any sale, best to have some pictures and a DETAILED description of the guitar.

Also, to avoid the "I'll give you $100.01" offers, what are you asking for it.

You can upload pictures into the gallery if you don't have a website.

Good luck. A lot of sales have been made here.

Thanks...I do have it on Ebay right now for $719

I know the guitar was purchased for a lot more when It was new, but my question is, what should I expect to get out of it?

Is $719 reasonable? Should I be getting more, or is that to high?

What is the guitar worth?

Thanks for the response..

I guess there is now way to tell the value of a guitar before selling it?

I'd say you're in the ball park. This is a guitar that may appeal to a more narrow audience as opposed to a guitar more generally sought...if someone is looking for that particular guitar, you might get that asking price...

Thanks

What about taking it to a place like Guitar Center or a local guitar shop? Any idea of what they might give or what I should accept.

Im trying to get $600 from this guitar.

So if anyone here is interested, I will do 600 plus actual shipping if paying by check or money order.

If you want to pay by paypal, I will do $620 plus actual shipping....

Thanks.

I haven't been watching e-bay recently, but I've seen several go through in the last year in that ball park. I think the pickup system is a bit special and may appeal to a narrower audience than say the Optima that was used on the 94. I agree, you're in the ball park for price.

Good luck!
