Location: Goshen IN | I have wonted an Ovation cense I was 15 now 21 years later I just ordered a 1778LX Elite Black from Munitions Friend. They say I should get it no Tuesday. It feels like Christmas. I had a hard time deciding because I like a satin neck but love an ebony fret board. Someone on this site mentioned in the past about using scotch bright to rough up the neck. I don’t now about that...It kind of scares the crap out of me. Id probably have to buy a cheep guitar to test it on first. Can someone elaborate on that? |

| Oh, congrats, BTW. I love ebony fretboard, too. The main reason I recently got a new Legend over a Balladeer (which would have had a satin neck). Ugh -- I don't know about the roughing, either. |

Location: Goshen IN | It arrived. I took a picture of it the instant I opened the lid the first time so you could kind of be there with me. But I don’t know how to post it? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Randy, use the member access on the left green panel then follow the directions in the gallery utility. You have to downsize it to less than 500 megapixels wide, I think, or it won't load. I'm going to post some new ones Monday, when my wife brings the camera back from visiting family. |
