Good G-d! Luckily, I'm smoking the good stuff tonight (and not sharing!!!!)...that made me laugh so hard I cried. My wife is now convinced that I'm completely off the chain.

Question for the President of Iran - If the holacost never happened does that mean that Dr. Mengle never existed? Dave

I've seen it quite a few times, and I'm quite surprised to see that the bidding is still on going. I find it very funny actually. I just might want to bid on it, and show it off. A camera might come in handy to record some folks (like myself) who can take a step back and get a good laugh, or see the facial expressions of some who might find it offensive and p****d off. :D

Unfortunately ... some people don't ...

If you take that e-bay link to the "other" forum, the above-mentioned "some" could turn into "most."

Maybe but, as a paddle, I'm not too sure that headstock would move too much water.

I'll bet if you flashed it quick... right at an Ovation fan who was very old it would do em in right there.
Is this just a joke or is someone actually trying to sell this thing?? If it is real somebody please buy it so we can give it an exorcism at the factory!
Well have bill throw the holy water at it while we all chant;
"The Body of Christ Compels you"
"The Body of Christ Compels you"
"The Body of Christ Compels you"

Yeah the Martin guy's must be popin Nitro pills left and right just knowing this thing exists!

Too dam funny no matter what side of the isle your on this time.

I wonder if I can put the Ovation neck on a Martin, then I would have a "MATCHED PAIR?"

Any O fans who own a Martin as well?? This must be how you feel every day.

I know My day is just not right now until I look at my Ovations and I see the necks are correct. Then I can function. This will take me a while to get over But, with a little Guitar therapy and time, I will pull through.

I offered to make some custom TRCs for the guys over at the Martin site as kind of a friendly gesture.

No response yet!

Fellow OFCer's--

It has taken me nearly two days to recover from the atrocity I witnessed on e-Bay. I am astonished--nay, APPALLED-- that such visual horror can be exhibited uncensored on the internet. After recovering from the swoon that was triggered by the shock to my nervous system, I find that I MUST speak!

I fear we are overlooking an important aspect of this obscene crime against nature-- the perpetrator! Who could have DONE such a horrible thing?! He-- or she-- must be brought to justice! The blood of the mutilated Ovation cries out for vengeance, and we must heed the call! This conscienceless monster must be brought to bay (eBay, that is). What say you for their punishment? A tour of the Ovation factory in handcuffs? Incarceration in a cell in the middle of a convention of Ovation guitar owners? Tarring and feathering?

NAAAAHHHHHHHHH! That's WAY to good for them!

Round up a posse! Get the torches! Summon the bloodhounds! Get the muzzleloaders!

Get a 12 pack and some wine coolers!

The hunt is afoot (or is that aneck?)!

VENGEANCE IS OURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah ... like watching a very cheesy film on DVD, I actually managed to sit back, put my feet on top of the coffee table, and get a good laugh out of it.
