The only reason they are in there is because as I was busy trying to finish the calendar up (and ignoring Brad's emails :D ), I realized I was out of pictures. I had used all the ones with high enough resolution to use for the big picture and I had used all the small pics in collages already. So I figured I'd snap a couple of pictures of my herd. I took some really boring, badly lit shots of my guitars on the wall. My 20 year old daughter told me "Wow Dad, those are pretty bad! Why don't you let me take some decent pictures for you!" So I set up the shots of my 1537 and my 1674 going out for a spring drive, while my Viper, GC 12-String and 1112-4 relaxed in the yard. My daughter took some great shots. And there you have it. March calendar page.
I have to say, I really appreciate everybody who send pictures for the calendar. I enjoyed putting it together and I really like having it on my wall! I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. A big thanks to Brad for making it happen! |

I really like this one. It is the kind of picture I tried to encourage.
Now I really like this photo. But here is what I would add. See the lawn area in the upper left corner? It needs a lounge chair. A lounge chair with a bikini chick. One arm is bent and using her forearm she shades her eyes from the intense tropical sun. The other arm is extended and angled toward the grass. In that hand she has a firm grip on the neck of a.....ukelele. Yeah... that's the ticket. |
