Dear OFC-ers: Would anyone perhaps know an "acoustic shredder" guy who could handle the classic AL-JM-PACO (Larry) "Trio" material (Guardian Angel, Medit. Sundance etc.) in the CHICAGO AREA? I have been trying to recruit someone to do local clubs in duo/trio format. I'm looking for someone reasonably literate, cool, with chops etc. Extra plus would be another Ovation on stage with my Legends. Maybe one of you dudes?

Sample Tune: http://www.luc.edu/depts/classics/
click FACULTY, click GREG DOBROV
scroll down & "listen to some of Greg's music"

Thanks, Greg gdobrov@luc.edu

I know a guy who meets at least one of your requirements, but he'd have to commute from London... :( He might be literate, but he doesn't talk much.

Nice work on that sample.

Thanks Jeff! Are you the guy? Too bad.
By the way, are all those guitars yours?

I am definitely NOT THE guy... i was refering to our own Schroeder, but don't tell him.

Yes those are my guitars, though many of them have now passed into other hands.

the wooden roundback is currently on a tour of OFC members, if you would like to jump on the list...it's free (cept to ship it to the next member)

Would love to come and make it a trio. Good luck and have fun. (Actually my playing is so undisciplined these days you wouldn't have me anyway).

It would appear to be true that I had never deleted a single received or sent email in my little corner of the OFC. I have sprayed Agent Orange everywhere.
"Honored"? You wouldn't be if you only knew, or even if you knew how to spell it.
Snail mail and stuff on the way.

and I am truely astonished that you have received enough PM's to fill your limit. This place is full of sickos.

1.I didn't know there was a limit until now. And it's taken 18 months or more to fill it.
2. Nice spelling.
3. Agreed on the sicko thing.
4. Aren't you in Vienna? I'm led to believe you just had Wienerschnitzel and salad.

Greg, sounds to me like you ought to follow up with Jeff Burns before Schroeder and Jeff W. lead you totally astray.

Schroeder, I think a couple of those PM's are mine. I'd appreciate it if you'd send them back, I'm saving them as evidence of my sensitivity...
