The Josh White is in the top 3 of my wish list. Seller would ship to Germany. Should I grab this one or wait for the reissue later this year? Decisions ....

The reissue is VERY nice, but the price will be a LOT more than this one will sell for. At a list price of $2500. or something like that, I wonder how many they will really sell.

Karl, I'm considering selling my Josh White which I got a couple of years ago from Mr Witko. It's a '68. It's in great shape and is all original apart from the factory installed thinline pickup with direct-out endpin preamp (no controls) So it's appearance is of an original JW but has an Ovation pickup system. It has a 70's brown Ovation case. Email me if you're interested. I can ship to Germany using a 2 day courier service for £14.00. There's a picture of me playing the guitar on Dave's website.

Karl - BUY IT! That's another guitar I regret selling. It's got great history. Dave

Wow! a josh White. I've never playe one but at around $355 it looks like it would be a great bargain for someone. I've made myself a promise that i will not buy anymore guitars until we are back on our feet. so someone please grab this and put me out of my misery!! :)
My wife knows that a 6 string ovation is next on my list. hopefully when things get better that dream will become reality.

Thanks Paul, the Josh White arrived well. What a great piece of Ovation history! I'm the fifth owner and all previous owners also are OFC members.

Congrats Karl,

You can't imagine how I'm happy to know that you have finally convinced your wife. ;)
This guitar is a piece of history and I hope to have one in the next future.

Enjoy this babe.

According to Dave he purchased it from samova which he, for his part, had purchased it from cwk2.

I'm already regretting letting it go, but I'm thinning the herd a little and needed to finance a Godin Multiac.

I've been thinking about getting one of the Godin Jazz guitars.

Godin makes some fine instruments. I got a great deal on a used Godin Nylon SA. I bought it exclusively for the Synth access. As a straight electro nylon it's very good but I prefer my Ovation EA63.
