Location: Warren,Pa. | Hi Lesley Ann...welcome! If you're looking for replacements for those tuners, the easiest way to get the right ones is to email the Service Dept. at Ovation. Try Kim Keller at: kkeller-kmc@kaman.com.
He's friendly, helpful and knows everything about parts for your Ovations. John <>{ |

Location: Tennessee | For your Ultra, they are the Schallers. I'm not sure about the 1616. You can get replacements from a place like StewMac ( WebSite ), but like John said above, drop customer service a line and they'll point you in the right direction.
Ping is a brand of tuners that Ovation started using a few years ago.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I believe they used the Pings back then, but defer to Stonebobbo on what they used on the Ultras. I don't think the Pings came in nickel. The chrome classics they used on the 1616 and several other classics. Check with Al Pepiak (Lost Art/Vintage sponsor link on the left). He had some classic tuners made by Schaller on ebay just a couple of weeks ago. |
