This "was" a serious thread. I mean c'mon, what'd he expect from a wooden piece of junk like that!? No stability at all!! I was going to blame the D'add pro arte strings, but it's clearly an inferior instrument problem.
Jeff, you even called it a "POS" in your first post. You should just send it away and try to forget about it. If it were a new Adamas, it would have had a lifetime warranty which you would have never needed .... :D :p :D :p
Needless to say the initial shock has worn off and after we all got done crying for you and playing "our loved ones", we're ready to let you have it. |

It's not showing other obvious signs of being excessively dry... but, for now, that's the working hypothesis.
Dizzy, I appreciate your sensitivity. My crack ain't pretty, but it still works perfectly and sounds beautiful.
We'll give it some first aid for a while to see what happens. It's funny, but I have this strange urge to send it to Fred  . |

Location: North Texas | My guess is that the crack was not caused by any action by Jeff. Nylons probably don't have the force to break healthy top wood. Sometimes they crack naturally. If the guitar sounds good, no worries. |
