There a great banjo part on "Rollin' in My Sweet Baby's Arms" on Leon Russell's "Hank Wilson's Back" album.

"I Will" ......The intro to Alison Krauss' cover of the Lennon/McCartney song.(Her voice always gives me chills...)
I also "assumed" that Ron Block (Super Player!) did the banjo part but I just read the liner notes and discovered that it was done by Tony Furtado! (also a Super Picker!!)

Recently moved to Georgia. Not as "Billy-bobish" as my California friends predicted. But, was walking through a parking lot yesterday. Some teenagers were driving through with their stereo playing way too loud. What were they playing? Dueling Banjos! Just seemed a bit incongruous, and brought a smile to my face.

TWA, everyone I've met has been very nice -- some real characters included! Now, if I could just figure out this NASCAR obsession...

A neighbor got a Smokey and the Bandit era Firebird with a primered fender recently, to drive while their primary vehicle is repaired. They call it the Dirt-mobile in honor of Joe Dirt. I think JD had a Charger or sumpin, but, someone in the film had a Firebird or Camaro.
