Tighten up the claw in the spring cavity and/or add a couple more springs. They're standard Fender-type trem springs, you can get them just about anywhere.

It's unlikey the spings are shot. An extra 2 should do it.

airguitarhero, nice name. Did you bid on Woody's 2 ebay guitars last week. They'd be perfect for you.

I WOULD NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE FACT THAT IT SAYS "SQUIRE" ON IT - I THINK THE HELLO KITTY GUITARS ARE REALLY COOL. GREAT MARKETING IDEA BY FENDER. PERSONALLY I'D BUY THE BLACK ONE AND THEN PAINT SOME BLOODSHOT INTO KITTY'S EYES JUST TO FREAK OUT THE OTHER 4TH GRADERS AT "SHOW AND TELL". DAVE

My daughter swears she will do ALL her chores without being asked, if I were to buy her a "Hello Kitty" electric..... No way!

Now...if a PokyPuppy line of Fenders is offered, I would just have to have one. ;)

Just imaging MTV Celebrity Deathmatch featureing Pokey Puppy vs. Hello Kitty. I would pay money to see it. Dave
