OK, back on topic.

This auction is starting to look like it has a couple of shills driving up the bid.

Two (0) feedback bidders...one account established in '99 without ever winning anything and the other from '03 with the same modus operandi.

But here is the interesting part. Both of these two bidders have each had "2" bid retractions in their history.

I find that rather interesting.

evguenia is a shill. He/she has been involved in a few auctions I've bid on. This auction will get pulled and relisted. Mark my words. Dave

Interesting part of this is Al (the seller) wrote me through eBay to tell me of the auction. Said it appeared I had interest in Adamas :D

The reserve is about where it will probably sell but it is a nice instrument.

He's not an OFC'er as he said he mainly has Gibsons. Asked me if I would post on the OFC.

The shill bidders will probably drop off way before the reserve.

I've been noticing a lot of shills popping up on the bay lately. Very frustrating for those of us who use ebay honestly.

BTW, since this thread has already gone way off, what are G-bands? Anything like a cut capo?

My obvious motto: "Never be afraid to be the one to ask the stupid question."

Seller is aware of the problem bidders...

Reserve is at $2,000 as determined by a bidder that was then retracted.

Mr. Spider, welcome to the auction.

Check out: G Band

and see Paul's demo; he sounded so good at NAMM (with Michael's Viper and Bose system)

What sense does a shill bidder make if he bids less than the reserve. I don't get it. Dave

the G band is like a cut capo. There are 2 versions one that covers the top string and one that was designed to cover the top 2 strings. They can be used in tandom and can be reversed to cover the low strings.

Paul Templeton is demo-ing and selling them.

I have a birthday this year. Anyone want to make me really happy?

I'll still get GAS, but it will make me happy!

The G Band is the antithesis of the Cut Capo but somehow it works anyway. It's that whole 5ths and 7ths thing. I hope to bring a couple back to show you.

Since I'm not currently in the market for any guitars, I've been trying to avoid the "for sale" posts to save myself undue GAS pains, but I finally could no longer resist looking at this one.

Wow! Ouch! It's a beauty! Ouch! Bet it sounds great! Ouch!! OK, back to the "General Postings"for me.
