Location: Maryland		In spite of reviewing the "Code", I have been unable to determine the year my Ovation was manufactured. The series is a 1612-1 which is a Deluxe Ballader-standard bowl-sunburst. The serial number is 101926.

Also, I am unhappy with the amplified tone and wonder if it's worth having the electronics replaced.

I will appreciate any feedback.

Location: SoCal		I't a custom balladeer, not a deluxe balladeer.

The electronics are pretty old. Plug it into an eq box and play with the sound. Accent the lows and bring down the highs....
