It's not by chance that the tour comes off as such a casual and relaxing event. The fine folks at the Mothership need to know how many guests they are going to host and how many burgers and dogs to buy. If things like side trips for wives and kids or seminars are going to be possible at all, numbers are needed. It would be an embarassment for all concerned if more (or less) members turn up than they planned for.
Either by personal experience or reputation we all know how generous the factory is to us on that day. Let's not make it any harder on them than needed. |
