Kaki's debut at Carnegie Hall went very well.

The venue has a strict policy concerning cameras in the performing hall, so I'll have to wait for the official photographer to post in their archives. The photos below were made just after her concert... the first with Kaki, me, and her mother, and the second is with her and a fan who said he drove 250 miles one way in order to see her!

She played her Adamas II 1581 prototype, and performed songs from her first two records as well as songs from her upcoming third CD. The audience response was enthusiastic. Words cannot adequately describe my emotions seeing her on that stage.

In my opinion, she would never have made it there without the unfailing career support of the Ovation Company.

Finest regards to everyone--

I'm sure. Just the thought of that gives me a chill. I cannot imagine what it would be like to see my daughter on that stage.

Congratulations to all of you.

Congratulations from me as well, Dave. Playing there is an honor reserved for the very best.

She's a lucky young lady. She has her gifts and talents in music, and such supportive parents.

And she got her looks from her mother. ;)

Wow. Congratulations Kaki and Dad. Arguably, the highest achievement a performer can attain (and at such a young age).

I thought about it, I've just got too much class. By the way, did she perform any material from the album you hate so much?

WOW! Carnegie Hall.

Your Daughter is extremly gifted. Some of that talent had to rub off from you.

I have enjoyed the DVD you sent with others. They sit there and say, "How does she do that".

Wow!! Congratulations Kaki, Dave and Mom.
The only time I was in Carnegie hall was when my brother had his Stuyvesant High School graduation there.

Congrats Dave.

And please don't forget that we're waiting for her at "the Olympia" in France!!
I can imagine her name in red neon letters on the front of the theater.

Jérôme :)

Your restraint amazes me almost to the level that your mind frightens me.
