Pearloid Upside: No prints, consistent and bright. Pearloid Downside: some additional cost to obtain Ebony Upside: Looks exquisite and classy! Black goes with everything. Ebony Downside: Cost and availability. | ||

When I got my Custom Legend in the early '80s, I felt ripped off because the Anniversary and Legend had the gold which I thought looked classier. Now to me they not only look better, they're also not tarnished like a lot of gold hardware on eBay O's. I just swapped out the gold ones on my Legend LX 12 string and not only like the looks better, but 26 bucks is a small price to pay for not having to wipe down 12 tiny gold buttons everytime I play. | ||
