As written in Acoustic Guitar

Berkowitz tunes his 30-inch
scale instrument from A to A, using a custom
set of strings gauged .018–.080.
Those are HEAVY GUAGE strings. :D

I have used an .074 on my Balladeer to make a Poor man's Baritone. It feels kinda normal after a bit.

I've got a pair of baritones... the Alvarez AV2SB and Avante AV2E. The Alvarez is significantly better, but they're both a lot of fun.

*hums in a really deep voice*

Willard, did you buy the longneck?

That is a great guitar and a terrific price!
