Well, i bought Stephan's black 1537 and it arrived today.

Incredible. Really, i don't know what to say, just incredible. I haven't put it down. It is a banquet for the ears and eyes.

My fingers are sore, the bones in the tips of my fingers are sore and i can't put it down. I play a couple of hours a day and my fingers are killing me. It's that sweet.

Stephan, i'm not sure how you could part with this friend, but i can't thank you enough -- you sir, are a prince among men.

Another believer and convert to the 1537 magic.

Believe me Greg when I say it was not an easy decision to let that one go....but since I am fortunate enough to own a 1547, I was able to offer this one up for someone else's pleasure.

That black was one of the most beautiful O's I had the pleasure of owning and the full sound was outstanding.

Enjoy it for many many years to come!

I think Jeff was bringing a Ute, a 1537, a FD14, and a Brit.

Sorry, the limit is 3.

...and many of us have never seen a Ute, 1537 or FD14.

I'll be picking mine up from the factory at the tour. Neck re-set, frets dressed and leveled, should be real nice. All who wish will be allowed to give it a test drive.

Ok this may be a bit redundant, but i just have to say this again --- Thank you Stephan, i just love this guitar.

It has the most incredibly rich and deep tone. It would be hard to find a sweeter sounding guitar, and i've listened to a lot of guitars. I am always amazed every time i play it, and then a grin, from "ear to ear" -- wow, just wow!
