I just purchased an Adamas #1681-8 and was wondering about cleaning the top. Is there anything special that I have to clean the graphite top with? Can a conventional guitar polish be used?

thanks,
Shandy

Shandy,

Where you at? I'm new to Knoxville. We should try to cross paths sometime soon.

I live in Northwest Knoxville and mainly work down west near the Walker Springs area. I lived here for 17 years.

Northwest is good. I'll be in Oak Ridge starting next week. Probably more north and west than you , but I will travel to south and further west to work everyday (Vonore)

There are a couple of others from the Knox area. It would be good to meet other OFC'ers face to face.

Cliff,
I'll be wearing my orange pair... just so we don't get caught looking like the Bobsey Twin

Actually, the orange ones were my FIRST choice, but I opted for something a bit more "austere" . . .

These are starting t'wear a little thin on the bottoms . . . if the place in town here has the orange ones, we just MAY end up matching after all . . .

To get back to the original question in this thread, I've always used a llama fur dusting clothe to clean my Adamas.

Wouldn't "thong sandals" and socks be more appropriate, y'know, with the cloven hoves and all?? :p :D :p :D

Not in an Oregon winter they're not -- too many holes. :)
