Location: Keller, TX | I am putting a Hamer Special on ebay tonight, but have a question. The guitar has a truss rod cover that is scribed: "Thank Duy Vu". Any idea who this is or what it means?
I will ask on HamerMuseum too.

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Oh yeah, the world famous vietnamese guitarist, Thanh Duy Vu! You haven't heard of him? That's not a Thank but a Thanh!
His greatest hits included Ho Chihuahua!
Seriously, I just made that up ... never heard of him. Probably a vietnamese fella who slapped his name on a TRC. That's all. Has good taste in geetars though. Good luck. And as Duy says:
Thanh Vu very much! |

Location: Houston, TX | Early alternate spelling of Katmandu, therefore this guitar obviously belonged to Bob Seger, who was once seen at a party with that guy from Queens of the Stone Age, so this guitar is probably worth about $15,000. |
