is on ebay and it states that it is a 1976. The case shows that it is a late year, however the serial number(under 300) is of a earlier year. The neck plate on back that has the serial number is not like any I have seen before. Any answer to why the low serial number, late model case, and unusual neck plate? |

Location: San Bernardino, California | The neck plate is normal for the early Breadwinners. At a guess I'd say this one is a late '72 or early '73. |

Location: boulder | I think the serial #'s started off as 4 digits, then switched to 5 digits, starting with 00001 so this serial # could be a 1976. The case and electronics alone are almost worth the starting bid. imho peace, mike |
