I found this video last night and thought some may enjoy it. If you have a decent connection, you can download the whole show. Isaac died in 2000 it was a great loss to the guitar world...he was quite a player. Watching him use the pick and fingers at the same time was fascinating. I've been letting the whole thing play in the background this morning while doing other stuff. Check it out if you like...

I knew Isaac well. A great player and a great loss. Not long before he died he played at a venue I was involved with. The gig clashed with an important televised football match (if you consider football "important") and the attendance was poor as a result. Rather than have the promoter stand a loss Isaac refused to take his full fee. In 20-odd years of promoting gigs I can count on 1 hand the people who would do that. Again just before he died I hooked Isaac up with the then UK distributor of K Yairi, who made a handful of IG signature models.

Guillory featured prominently on a couple of my favorite Al Stewart albums "Past, Present & Future" and "Modern Times".

I wasn't aware that he had died . . .
Shame.

Thanks for sharing that Paul. I always love discovering and listening to someone I had not heard before. I believe he has a beautiful daughter who is a model in the UK. She sure had a talented father. It's good to hear he was as great a person as he was a guitarist.
